“My First MARALOVE Runway Show: A Love Letter”
There are moments in life that take you right back to where it all began—where your passion was first born. For me, that moment happened as I stepped into the space that would host my first MARALOVE runway show. I was instantly transported to my childhood, to the joy of playing dress-up, creating characters, and imagining myself walking a runway. Back then, it was just a dream. But that day, it became real.
I never imagined it could actually happen—but with vision, hard work, resilience, belief, and passion for who you are and what you do, incredible things unfold.
The MARALOVE Runway + Closet Sale was more than an event—it was a celebration of creativity, community, and conscious fashion. I had the joy of sharing this milestone with so many talented, inspiring people—friends, family, and collaborators who helped bring this dream to life. We showcased upcycled fashion with purpose and soul, each piece carrying a story and a second life.

“MI PRIMER DESFILE — UNA CARTA DE AMOR”
Hay momentos en la vida que te llevan de vuelta al origen, al lugar donde nació tu pasión. Para mí, ese momento ocurrió al entrar al espacio donde se llevaría a cabo el primer desfile de moda de MARALOVE. De inmediato, me transporté a mi infancia, a esos días en los que jugaba a disfrazarme, a crear personajes y a imaginarme desfilando en una pasarela. En ese entonces era solo un sueño. Ese día, se volvió realidad.
Jamás imaginé que algo así podría pasar. Pero con visión, trabajo constante, esfuerzo, fe y pasión por lo que eres y haces, las cosas increíbles se manifiestan.
El Runway + Closet Sale de MARALOVE fue más que un evento: fue una celebración de la creatividad, la comunidad y la moda consciente. Cada accesorio utilizado en los atuendos siendo de segunda mano. Tuve la dicha de compartir este logro con personas talentosas e inspiradoras: amistades, familia y colaboradores que ayudaron a hacer realidad este sueño. Presentamos moda reciclada con propósito y alma, cada pieza con una historia y una nueva vida.

It honestly took me about five hours to make this blog post. Not because I didn’t know what to say—but because going through every single photo brought me back to each moment. I had to stop, breathe, and feel what was happening. Each image captured something so real, so alive—it moved me all over again.

Honestamente, me tomó como cinco horas hacer este blog. No porque no supiera qué decir, sino porque al pasar por cada foto, volví a vivir cada momento. Tuve que parar, respirar y sentir lo que estaba ocurriendo. Cada imagen capturó algo tan real, tan vivo… que me volvió a conmover.
This runway show… my first MARALOVE upcycled fashion show and closet sale… was more than just an event. It was a dream come true. And what made it truly special was the people I got to live it with.

Este desfile… mi primer show de moda reciclada y venta de clóset de MARALOVE… fue más que un evento. Fue un sueño hecho realidad. Y lo que lo hizo verdaderamente especial fue la gente con la que lo viví.
Ile, Yaz, and I put our hearts into every detail—styling, creative direction, production. It was the happiest, most energizing, fun, inspiring process. I could go on with the most beautiful words, but truly, it was unforgettable. Just us three—Ile, Yaz, and me.
Ile, my soulmate. We think so much alike that sometimes it honestly scares me—haha! But I am so, so proud of you. You’re my everyday inspiration. Your belief in me gives me the strength to keep going on this wild, beautiful, challenging journey.
Your presence in this show was beyond what I could ever put into words. Thank you for showing me your heart. For showing me that you put yourself first. That you honor your feelings. That you are brave. That you love yourself enough to leave your comfort zone and step into something new. You AMAZE me. I love you. Thank you.
Yaz, you are a true ICON. You carry this immense creativity inside of you—it can’t be ignored. You must follow @yazreve because her vision flows from her soul. It’s part of who she is, and I know it will only grow. Where you are now is just the beginning of your success. You already are iconic. Don’t doubt it.

Ile, Yaz y yo pusimos el corazón en cada detalle—styling, dirección creativa, producción. Fue el proceso más feliz, lleno de energía, divertido e inspirador. Podría seguir con palabras bellísimas, pero en verdad, fue inolvidable. Solo nosotras tres—Ile, Yaz y yo.
Ile, mi alma gemela. Pensamos tan parecido que a veces honestamente me asusta—¡jaja! Pero estoy tan, tan orgullosa de ti. Eres mi inspiración diaria. Tu fe en mí me da la fuerza para seguir en este camino tan loco, hermoso y desafiante.
