“When Creation Changes Form…”

 

Lately, I’ve found it a bit difficult to paint.

 

For months, I’ve had a series of paintings in mind for a new collection, but with everything I see and hear in the world, I feel that inspiration has been put on pause.

 

And although I don’t want to let it pass, I know it will return.

I know that at some point I will be able to make it tangible and continue sharing my creations.

For now, I’ve decided to give more space to another part of my process.

 

To my online shop—clothing, accessories, and pieces for the home.

I want to share something that truly excites me.

 

After quite some time of applying to a space that, from the moment I discovered it, I knew I wanted to be part of… my application was finally accepted.

 

And I’ve been welcomed.

 

This fills me with excitement and pride, because Ileana and I, as partners in this venture, will be participating this November at Espacio Vogue, for VOGUE Mexico and Latin America, at Four Seasons in Mexico City.

The truth is, I’ve always known there was great potential in the pieces we’ve collected over more than ten years.

 

After so many exhibitions and photoshoots, I’ve accumulated many pieces that I’ve worn at different moments… and then don’t wear again. I’ve kept them stored, archived in my space.

 

Most of them are from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and some more recent.

 

I’ve found them along the way, in second-hand shops and in places where clothing carries history.

 

And that’s what I love the most:

finding pieces with authenticity, with personality.

I love being able to share beyond the art itself.

 

As I mentioned in the reel I just shared, it’s not only about painting.

 

It’s everything that is part of my creative life.

That’s why I decided to bring this part into something more formal.

 

Because I know there are people who appreciate materials, textures, and who find inspiration in what they wear in their everyday life.

 

And that, for me as an artist, is deeply inspiring.

At this moment, the way I express my creativity has shifted.

 

It’s living in these pieces.

In my online shop.

In preparing what’s to come.

 

Paris in May,

New York in July,

and this new chapter with Espacio Vogue in November.

This is something I’ve wanted to share for a long time.

 

And I didn’t quite know how.

 

But the blog felt like the right place.

In the coming months, I’ll be hosting private, invitation-only sales—creating a more intentional and meaningful space for you.

“Cuando Crear Cambia de Forma…”

En estos momentos me ha costado un poco pintar.

 

He tenido durante meses una inspiración de pinturas en mente para hacer una nueva colección, pero de todas las noticias que veo, y escucho, siento que esa inspiración se ha puesto en pausa.

 

Y aunque no la quiero dejar pasar, sé que pronto volverá a mí.

Sé que en algún momento voy a poder hacerla tangible y continuar compartiéndoles mis creaciones.

Por ahora, decidí darle más espacio a otra parte de mi proceso.

 

A mi venta en línea de ropa, accesorios y piezas para casa.

Les quiero compartir algo que me emociona mucho.

 

Después de bastante tiempo de haber aplicado a un espacio en el que, desde que lo conocí, quise participar… finalmente aceptaron mi solicitud.

 

Y me dan la bienvenida.

 

Esto me llena de emoción y orgullo, porque Ileana y yo como socias en este emprendimiento, estaremos participando en noviembre en Espacio Vogue, para VOGUE México y Latinoamérica, en el Hotel Four Seasons de la Ciudad de México.

La verdad es que siempre supe que había un gran potencial en las piezas que hemos adquirido durante mas de diez años.

 

Después de tantas exposiciones y sesiones de fotos, he acumulado muchas piezas que he utilizado en distintos momentos… y que después no vuelvo a usar. Las tengo guardadas, archivadas en mi bodega.

 

La mayoría son piezas de los años 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s y recientes.

 

Las he encontrado en el camino, en tiendas de segunda mano y en lugares donde la ropa tiene historia.

 

Y eso es lo que más me gusta:

buscar piezas con autenticidad, con personalidad.

Me gusta poder compartir más allá del arte en sí.

 

Como lo mencioné en el reel que acabo de subir, no es solo la pintura.

 

Es todo lo que forma parte de mi vida creativa.

Por eso decidí llevar esta parte a algo más formal.

 

Porque sé que hay personas que aprecian los materiales, las texturas, y que encuentran inspiración en lo que portan en su día a día.

 

Y eso, para mí como artista, es algo muy inspirador.

En este momento, la forma de expresar mi creatividad cambió.

 

Está viviendo en estas piezas.

En mi venta en línea.

En preparar lo que viene.

 

París en mayo,

Nueva York en julio,

y este nuevo capítulo con Espacio Vogue en noviembre.

Esta es una noticia que desde hace tiempo quería compartir.

 

Y no sabía cómo hacerlo.

 

Pero el blog se siente como el lugar correcto.

En los próximos meses estaré haciendo ventas con invitación privada para que sea un tiempo dedicado y valioso para ustedes.
